Ceramic is often under-estimated for it's strength and durability. Buying an artisinal ceramic product is a life-long investment. They're fired to a higher temperature than industry-made ceramic and the products made at ceramic-clusters. They're more expensive for many reasons, one of them being the special love and care they receive in their quality.
We only use non-hazardous glazes. Our primary focus is ease of function such that all our decorative ware is also functional for use. Unless mentioned otherwise, all our products can withstand heat - dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.
This surface design is achieved through Sodium Silicate Pottery techniques. This chemical applied on thrown forms allows the walls to crack from outer layers upon expansion. This beautiful surface is one of a kind and hard to control.
