They're fired to a higher temperature than industry-made ceramic and the products made at ceramic-clusters. They're more expensive for many reasons, one of them being the special love and care they receive in their quality.
We only use non-hazardous glazes. Our primary focus is ease of function such that all our decorative ware is also functional for use. Unless mentioned otherwise, all our products can withstand heat - dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.
